Is it possible for two people to have same yahoo email address?

I received an email confirming a purchase order from a company i have never heard of. I contacted this company and they said it was someone with the same email address and they lived in Georgia. Is it possible that two people could have the same email address?

No they can't. I rather suspect a phishing scheme, especially if the place asked for financial data.

Of course if the purchase order was legitimate, it may be that the email address was entered incorrectly by the purchaser.

I would still ask your email's host domain to investigate. For example, to contact Yahoo about it, see the link below

Reply:becareful, if that email want your confirm of your account and you card dont give it. yahoo will give a diffrent name on account because the username was set up to uniqe. other reason is that guy on georgia was carding your card. and use your mail. so start change your mail password now.
Reply:No - two people cannot have the same address, however it is relatively easy to mask your address and make it look like it has come from someone else.
Reply:No, but they can be made to look similar.
