Do yahoo email accounts automatically lock the account if someone enters the wrong password too many times? Could someone use a brute-force attack to overcome my password? Or will my yahoo email lock so that no-one can get access unless yahoo's security team unlocks my account?

Yes if someone tries a lot of times ( I do not remember how many) yahoo will shut it down for like 12 hrs. Hope this helps!!!
