How do I delete my current Yahoo email address and then create a completely new Yahoo email address?

I can't seen to find how I can delete my Yahoo email address. Then go in to the mail system and create a brand new replacement email address. I want to start fresh in my account with a new address - simple - but not when searching help.

Click on https://edit.yahoo.com/config/delete_use... Sign into the page with the Yahoo! ID you wish to delete. Once deleted the Yahoo! ID will not be available for approximately 90 days and anything associated with the Yahoo! ID will be deleted as well.

Second Email Address





You can create a second email account on the same Yahoo! account. Sign into Yahoo! Mail, choose Options in the right hand corner, under Management choose Mail Addresses. You can only get one extra mail address for your account.





Click On "Get Started" In this area you can choose the name of your new address. Once you have created the address you can modify how the name will appear to the receipients in the Options/Management/General Preferences section.

You can open a new account by going to http://www.yahoo.com and signing up for a new Yahoo! account.
Reply:Just register a new account. You can't delete the old one because they are the provider

Reply:You have to go into help and it can help you. then you have to go through a fairly long process where they ask you stuff like.. are you sure you want to delete your account?? deleting your account will erase everythign youve ever done on yahoo.. ect. ect... then once you delete it its gone forever
