Spam the e-mail and then they look into it.
Reply:They can try. The problem is the scam most likely opened the account with totally bogus information. That assumes they did not simply forge the address to begin with. It is entirely possible the address you have NEVER existed. Report Abuse
Reply:Turn on full headers and forward a copy to abuse@yahoo.com ... This will get THAT email turned off and they will create a new one, but hopefully lose some victims in the process... Also, consider posting your story, with emails, on a reputable 419 scam site...

I don't want to have to use attachments to do this. I would like for the email to be opened and for images to show as part of the email. Does anyone know how I can do this?????

find the pic ur looking for then copy it, write sum of ur message and then click paste or right click it. it shows up in the message itself with out having to attach files.

You can do it but you need to use a 3rd party app, called Yahoo POPs, in conjunction with Outlook Express. There is also something called Hotmail Popper I think that is the HotMail counterpart. The link for that app is below.

I downloaded something called yahoo photomail. I inserted picture after that and it looks fine when I compose but I still don't get a picture at destination.

Whether your recipient can see the picture or not depends on *their* system (email program, OS, bandwidth, service provider, etc.). I've found that the most reliable way to send pictures is one at a time, as an explicit attachment. If you have a lot of pictures to send, put them all into a .zip and attach that. Most email programs can handle one attachment (if they can handle non-text at all, that is).

i just made an alternate email through my current yahoo account. it says it needs to be verifyed and that it sent an email to the new account. the trouble is that i dont know how to get to it. i tried logging in to the new account with my original email addresses password but that did not work. please help me!

Surely, that should be an account that is active and you should go to that alternate address to pick up the verification mail yahoo sent you and follow the steps it gives you.
